Propuesta integradora de un sistema ERP para la Facultad de Turismo de la Universidad de la Habana

Resumen
Los sistemas Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) pueden ser utilizados en las universidades como instituciones de enseñanza en dos vertientes principales: la primera como soporte de los servicios de negocio y el manejo de las infraestructuras académicas y la segunda como apoyo a la enseñanza de disciplinas curriculares cuyo campo de acción en la actualidad no puede verse desligado del soporte tecnológico. La utilización de esta tecnología como apoyo funcional en las asignaturas de este corte brindaría a los estudiantes una experiencia útil y serviría además como una plataforma de prueba en aras de la extensión de las habilidades en la administración de los bienes y servicios para las instituciones. El objetivo de este estudio se centra en la revisión bibliográfica de los resultados obtenidos en el empleo de sistemas ERP en instituciones universitarias, el impacto logrado en la optimización de los procesos de negocio, así como los elementos para su aplicación satisfactoria. Los procesos de negocio y datos están basados en las características reales de la institución. Los resultados de esta investigación serán empleados en el proceso de elaboración de una propuesta para el despliegue de un ERP, con ello se busca facilitar el proceso de desarrollo y mejorar la eficacia de la solución proyectada. La contribución principal se encuentra en la definición de la estrategia práctica para el establecimiento de una solución tecnológica en el ambiente organizativo de trabajo, brindando un nuevo sistema integrado que posibilite la solución de las problemáticas existentes.
