Abstract

The present work is dedicated to the Physical Culture teachers who work together with the family doctor in the community or in hospitals and maternal homes in the care of pregnant women. It includes a methodological guide, where there are general and specific physical activities that every healthy pregnant woman can perform after her obstetrician has authorized it; It also explains the movements, postures or actions to be performed at the time of delivery, as well as other indications of interest on this important issue. A sample of 15 pregnant women in the southern care zone corresponding to the South Polyclinic Martha Martínez Figuera was chosen, and an analysis was made of why physical exercise is necessary in pregnant women and the impact this brings on their lifestyle and health, in addition to the benefits it can bring to the future child. A longitudinal and retrospective descriptive study was carried out to analyze the problem raised above.
