La relación fuerza-velocidad para la optimización del entrenamiento y prevención de lesiones
Main Article Content
Abstract
Strength and speed are determining abilities in the practice of different sports. Achieving the best ratio between the two is an important tool for optimization in sports training, as well as for the prevention of injuries. Considering the above, the article that is presented aims to: Reflect on the relationship between strength and speed and its importance for optimization in training and injury prevention. Based on a descriptive methodology with emphasis on the use of theoretical methods and documentary review, the main result is to establish from theoretical bases the importance of the relationship between strength-speed capabilities as a viable tool to achieve optimization in training sports and in turn prevent the occurrence of possible injuries. As a conclusion, the high correspondence that is achieved when an adequate proportion is established between both capacities and the repercussion that this brings both in sports training and in injury prevention is supported.
