Authorship confers credit and has important academic, social and financial implications. It also implies responsibility for what is published and its results.

Explorador Digital Magazine establishes that authorship is based on the following four criteria:

  1. Substantial contributions to the design, acquisition, analysis or interpretation of data;
  2. Writing and critical review of intellectual content;
  3. Final approval of the version to be published;
  4. Agreement to be responsible for all aspects of the work and its outcome.

All those designated as authors must meet all four authorship criteria. An author must be able to identify which co-authors are responsible for other specific parts of the work and must have confidence in the integrity of their co-authors' contributions. Those who do not meet the four criteria must be recognized in acknowledgments.

The articles published in the Explorador Digital Magazine retain the economic rights (copyright) of the published works. The magazine will retain the rights only while the review and publication process lasts. Once the article is published, all rights will be returned to the authors of the article. . This process favors and allows their reuse under the Creative license. Commons Attribution - Non-Commercial - ShareAlike 4.0 Ecuador, which allows others to remix , adapt and develop your work without commercial purposes, as long as they give you credit and license their new creations under the same terms.
