Introduction. In Ecuador there are several problems due to the lack of application of a teaching model by training coaches causing fatigue, disinterest, and boredom in athletes in which in many cases boys and girls end up withdrawing from said sport. Objective. The objective of this research was to analyze the incidence of the innovative model in the children's football technique in the sub-12 category, in Azogues Crack's football school, through the application of instruments necessary to know the difficulties of the soccer players of the technique with both legs. Methodology. The design was quasi-experimental with a control and experimental group, quantitative approach, through a field study with an initial test, intervention, and a final post-test. The entire population of Azogues Crack's football School in Azogues city, Cañar province, under-12 category, was used as a sample, which were 22 soccer players between the ages of 10 and 12 of both sexes (11=group of control and 11=experimental group), (M= 11.57 years), (M=45.57 Kg) and (M=1.57 m.), (BMI=19.80) of which 17 athletes have the right leg as dominant and the remaining 5 on the left, three tests from the Mor-Christian General Football Ability Skill Test Battery were used. Results. The results generally show the improvement of the technique in the athletes with both models, in the innovative model an improvement was found in hitting and controlling the ball with the dominant leg, driving with both legs, and passing with the non-dominant leg. dominant, while with the traditional model the findings reveal an improvement in driving the ball with both legs and the pass. Conclusions. The use of a training program of 12 sessions, 6 traditional and 6 with the innovative model, improved the individual technique of the players.
