Entrepreneurial innovation in the fishing industry: exploring the roles of Startups in Santa Priscila S.A.

Abstract
Introduction: The application of the Lean Startup methodology in businesses provides a dynamic approach to continuous innovation, pinpointing key elements for success. In the aquaculture sector, innovative strategies aim to enhance product quality and promote environmental responsibility. Objectives: This study scrutinizes the Lean Startup strategies employed by Santa Priscila S.A., aiming to identify best practices and key factors contributing to its international success. Methodology: Data collection and analysis will adopt a systemic approach, utilizing a validated questionnaire. The sample comprises 100 employees of Santa Priscila S.A., assessed through statistical tools to identify patterns and correlations. Results: The findings underscore that the implementation of Lean Startup strategies has propelled the company's development. Santa Priscila S.A. has enhanced its market understanding, leading in the international commercialization of aquaculture products. The construction of teams proficient in agile methodologies is pivotal for successful expansion. Conclusions: It is concluded that the proper utilization of continuous innovation strategies, such as Lean Startup, is paramount for sustained economic growth in companies. Agile adaptation and a profound understanding of the market are essential for international success in the aquaculture industry. This study contributes valuable insights for companies seeking to enhance their competitiveness through agile and sustainable approaches.
