Abstract

This study comprehensively analyzes the structural transformation generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern management. Introduction: The fourth industrial revolution has reconfigured organizational dynamics, positioning AI as a cross-cutting pillar for process optimization and decision-making, although its deployment introduces complex ethical and corporate governance dilemmas. Methodology: A systematic literature review was executed based on the PRISMA 2020 statement, conducting multi-database searches (Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect), ultimately selecting 10 high-relevance studies after passing four rigorous inclusion and exclusion phases. Results: It was evidenced that AI drives operational efficiency through AI-assisted Robotic Process Automation (Intelligent RPA), prescriptive analytics, and personalization in human talent management; however, it poses critical challenges linked to algorithmic bias, cybersecurity risks, opacity in decision models, and job displacement. Conclusions: The effectiveness of AI in organizational management does not depend solely on technological innovation, but on the adoption of ethical governance frameworks and transformational leadership focused on enhancing human capabilities through human-machine complementarity. General study area: Economic and Administrative Sciences. Specific study area: Business Administration and Organizational Technology Management. Item Type: Original.
