Valoración de la función muscular: competencias esenciales para licenciados en educación física
Sinopse
La valoración de la función muscular constituye un componente esencial para comprender el movimiento humano y para orientar de manera científica los procesos relacionados con la actividad física, el ejercicio, el deporte, la salud y la prevención de lesiones. El desarrollo de las ciencias del movimiento humano ha permitido reconocer que la función muscular no puede analizarse exclusivamente desde la capacidad de producir fuerza, sino que debe comprenderse como un fenómeno complejo en el que intervienen aspectos anatómicos, fisiológicos, neuromusculares, biomecánicos y funcionales. Desde esta perspectiva, la evaluación sistemática del sistema muscular representa una competencia fundamental para los profesionales vinculados con la educación física y las ciencias del deporte.
La presente obra, titulada Valoración de la Función Muscular: Competencias Esenciales para Licenciados en Educación Física, surge como una contribución académica orientada a fortalecer la formación científica y profesional de quienes tienen la responsabilidad de evaluar, orientar y acompañar los procesos relacionados con el movimiento humano. Su estructura parte de los fundamentos anatómicos del sistema muscular y de los mecanismos fisiológicos que hacen posible la contracción, para posteriormente avanzar hacia la comprensión biomecánica y hacia los diferentes procedimientos utilizados para valorar las capacidades funcionales del individuo.
