Sinopse

El fútbol moderno ha experimentado una transformación sin precedentes impulsada por los avances de las ciencias del deporte, la innovación tecnológica y la investigación científica aplicada al rendimiento humano. En este escenario, la preparación física ha dejado de fundamentarse exclusivamente en la experiencia empírica para convertirse en un proceso sistemático sustentado en evidencia científica, donde la comprensión integral del deportista constituye el eje central de la planificación del entrenamiento. La creciente complejidad de las demandas competitivas exige profesionales capaces de interpretar información proveniente de múltiples disciplinas, integrando conocimientos de anatomía funcional, antropometría, biomecánica, fisiología, nutrición y análisis del movimiento para optimizar el desempeño deportivo.

Este libro surge como una respuesta a esa necesidad de integrar el conocimiento científico con la práctica profesional del fútbol contemporáneo. A lo largo de sus capítulos se analiza cómo las características morfológicas, las propiedades biomecánicas del movimiento y la evaluación funcional del futbolista permiten comprender las bases biológicas que sustentan el rendimiento deportivo. Asimismo, se presentan herramientas metodológicas orientadas a la evaluación objetiva del deportista, la planificación individualizada del entrenamiento y la prevención de lesiones, aspectos indispensables dentro de los programas modernos de preparación física.
