Sinopsis

La ciencia de la actividad física terapéutica se ha consolidado como un campo interdisciplinar fundamental para la comprensión integral del movimiento humano, especialmente en contextos de promoción de la salud, prevención de la enfermedad y procesos de rehabilitación funcional. El movimiento humano no puede entenderse únicamente desde una perspectiva biomecánica o fisiológica aislada, sino como un fenómeno complejo que emerge de la interacción dinámica entre sistemas neuromusculares, cognitivos, emocionales y sociales. En este sentido, el presente libro se configura como una propuesta académica rigurosa que articula fundamentos científicos, clínicos y pedagógicos, orientados a comprender el cuerpo en movimiento como una unidad funcional, adaptable y profundamente influida por el entorno y la experienci.
